Magazine Review: Kiplingers's February Issue

The February issue of Kiplinger's struggled to meet the bar set by the January issue. Of course there are plenty of well written articles, it's just that the articles were not as "in sync" with the goals we established for 2009.

We did enjoy several articles, particularly the articles focusing on reviving your retirement savings and identifying places to stash your cash. The February issue also had a very good article on ways to boost your credit score.

As we pointed out previously, if you want to increase your financial knowledge Kiplinger's is a excellent resource.

Magazine Review: Kiplingers's January Issue

The January issue of Kiplinger's offers some good advice and tools for the new year. We particularly liked the 2009 Money Calendar which was packed with important dates for planning as well as suggestions for the new year. The January issue also has some excellent information on Roth IRA conversions as well as a good story about life after a layoff. And finally, there is an article on a resolution to keep more cash this year.

If you want to increase your financial knowledge Kiplinger's is a excellent resource. We give the January issue two thumbs up!
