It's that Time of the Year!

Now that the Holidays are past us it's time for a dose of reality, year end tax planning. A quick and somewhat painless strategy for some folks is to make their January house payment a few days earlier. If the payment is received and processed before the year end the interest will be reflected on your form 1098 for the 2008 tax year.

If you itemize this strategy may increase your deduction by several hundred dollars. I've posted this strategy now hoping you can take advantage of it before year end.
